Christa Comes Out of Her Shell Book Review

Today’s featured book is Christa Comes Out of Her Shell by Abbi Waxman. It was a very cute book and a fast read. I found myself connecting with the main character, Christa, as sometimes I do find myself enjoying animals more than people. Unlike Christa, I am an only child, but I did find the family dynamics comical, and I can imagine that her father, Jasper might’ve been inspired by Steve Irwin. I also enjoyed the romance in the book as well.

Jesse Vilinsky (as always) does a really good job with the narration of the audiobook, and makes really great voices for the characters. Jonathan Todd Ross also does a great job narrating his small parts as well.

This is my second book by Abbi Waxman and it certainly won’t be my last! Definitely recommend this fun read! 💖🎧
